York Mountain Vineyard
These Epoch wines are sourced entirely from our York Mountain Vineyard, the historic vineyard just up the road from our Tasting Room. Our York Mountain Vineyard is one of our three estate vineyards, but unlike our Paderewski Vineyard and Catapult Vineyard that sit in the Willow Creek district of the large Paso Robles AVA, York Mountain Vineyard resides in its own AVA, the York Mountain AVA. The sandstone soils, mild coastal climate, and high winter rainfall here make the York Mountain wines not only distinct in location, but in character as well. We knew immediately upon tasting them that their uniqueness begged for their own bottlings and their own separate offerings. We love the site-specific spice, fresh fruit, and bright acidity York Mountain Vineyard brings out in these wines, and we feel so fortunate to share them with you!
